Occupational Safety & Health

The Shire of Corrigin welcomes your interest in providing your services as a contractor to the Shire.  As a responsible citizen, the Shire places a strong priority on Occupational Safety and Health values, which our contracted service providers are expected to share.

As well as Occupational Safety and Health being a core corporate value, the Shire and our contracted service providers also have shared legislative responsibilities which must be complied with.

In order to ensure that intended contracted service providers are adequately assessed for suitability for engagement and are also made fully aware of the Shire’s Occupational Safety and Health expectations, we have developed an OSH Contractor’s Handbook and Pre-Qualification Assessment.

The OSH Contractors Handbook explains the Shire’s Occupational Safety and Health requirements that contracted service providers are expected to abide by when performing any works on our sites.

It should be noted that it does not replace your own reading and understanding of OSH requirements.
